Leaning Tower of Pisa
I took a day trip via train from Florence to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. One day is sufficient to view the tower, walk the surrounding grounds and read up on some of the history behind the buidlings. There are plenty of tourists around striking poses with the tower, and there are some interesting statues and smaller museums around, as well as street artists.

Pisa!
I am sharing with everyone my favorite travel thus far. I really did not expect it to be so wonderful and full of adventure. seeing the leaning Tower of Pisa makes me wonder where I have been hiding all my life. I have only seen the leaning tower in books so seeing it in person is so surreal. Thank you Daddy God for allowing me to see this wonder. I am ever grateful and ever mindful of everything. #pisa #leaningtowerofpisa #italy #passportready

Outstanding view of the Cathedral
#summerbreak
Fantastic view here just right across the most popular cathedral in the world. Florence gets extremely busy and full of tourist especially in summer time that you may only hear people speak in English due to the high volume of tourism.
The whole tower it is secured upstairs, so pics can be taken but they will always have bar due to the high risk of falling.
There are a lot of narrow steps to climb, so you may want to keep that in mind.
Best time to go will be during the month of May, June or September, avoid July and August due to crowds and heat.
Place to eat: Pochetta sandwiches is a must here! fresh delicious and daily specials are available 😃

Florence Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Seriously awesome steak that you should not miss when visiting Florence. There are loads of great places to find steak in Florence. This place that I went was extraordinary. The steak is everything you'd hope for, excellent quality and cooked perfectly. A 1kg steak was plenty for two people, but hunger varies and they had some nice sides to adjust to your group. I got some aglio olio simple pasta to go along with it. The price also varies from restaurant to restaurant, but on average it was around €100 for a good quality one, and of course you can share it with up to 4 people!

There is no reason not visiting right? if you have limited time traveling around Italy. I think you have to spend one day in Florence at least 😝
By the way, I have been to Florence twice already haha

[Renaissance capital Florence]
Florence is a paradise for cardinal architecture and luxury shopping. We only hurriedly stayed in Florence for two days, one day the city ran away, punched the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore and Piazzale Michelangelo, another One day to visit the world's largest luxury Ole the mall. In just two days, whether it is a beautiful view or shopping, the harvest is full ~
The location of our C-hotels Joy hotel is very good, all the way to the opposite side of the train station, next to the bus stop, especially the mall and Airport bus, super recommended!
After an Italian tax rebate guide~
I am not Xu Zhimo
so there is no cold night
free church to line a long team, the dome of the ticket did not make an appointment in advance, walking aimlessly on the street, through the old bridge and Michelangelo Kiro Square, but from time to time is always hit by a heavy rain indoors
wet and cold, it is a noble Florence ~

Piazzale Michelangelo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The best place to get a truly panoramic view of Florence's skyline. The walk uphill to the square could be quite taxing specially on a hot summer day so try to time it in the early morning or in the late afternoon. I chose the afternoon to coincided the climb with the sunset over the River Arno.#境外遊 #awesomepic
Michelangelo’s Square
#bucketlistreboot
After this steep, but short climb be sure to go to Michelangelo’s Square which you can find a few hundred meters down the road. Again, you will be rewarded with amazing views of Florence to admire. For best results, be sure to stop by one of the local bars and enjoy an Aperol Spritz. To finish up, head down on the Ponte alle Grazie and head your way to Basilica of Santa Croce with the eponymous square. A splendid way to finish your tour of Florence of the main attractions.
For those that are passionate by art we recommend Palazzo Pitti or Pitti Palace as it’s known in English. If not, it still makes for a few good photos on the outside

Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Florence Skyline
If you want to enjoy a stunning and magical Florence skyline, here is the best destination to go to. Not just a perfect photo opportunity, but a moment of wonder. No matter what time of day, you will find that Piazzale Michelangelo truly offers a stupendous lookout over Florence.
If you're in downtown Florence, you can walk up to the Piazzale Michelangelo. You can also take the bus or if you have a car, drive up there!
It can be reached by taking either bus 12 or 13 from the center or the red two-level sightseeing tour bus. It can also be reached by foot, climbing up from Piazza Poggi found at the base of the hill upon which Piazzale Michelangelo sits.

Piazzale Michelangelo is the best place for scenic lookout in Florence. The night scene at dusk is magnificent. Florence has three statues of David. This third one appeals to many photographers. Looking at the old town of Florence in the square, you can command a panoramic view of historic buildings, red tiles, Arno and Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore.

Medieval old town
Siena, located in central Italy, is a famous medieval city. The city center of Siena is a beautiful old town area, which is centered around a circular field square. There are various ancient buildings around the square, including the town hall and a 102-meter high clock tower. Next to it is the Siena Cathedral, which has a history of more than 800 years.
Italy | Florence's archenemy | Siena
Florence's neighbor Siena, developed at the same time as Florence, and the two city-states were equally matched. However, Siena has always supported the Holy Roman Empire, while Florence firmly supports the Pope in Rome. Over the centuries from the 13th to the 16th century, the people of the two city-states fought several brutal wars for territory and faith.
When Siena built the most beautiful church in Europe at that time (picture).
From the 5th to the 7th century, Florence followed suit and created the larger and more magnificent Santa Maria Novella, which looks like twin sisters; Florence has the Giotto Bell Tower, while Siena has the taller Mangia Tower (Figure 8); Siena has the gorgeous Campo Square (Figure 3), which is actually a very large square that cannot be captured without a wide-angle lens, while Florence continues to expand its municipal square. Even today, when these two cities meet in a football match, there is always a lot of tension.
In 1348, the Black Death that spread throughout Europe took away two-thirds of the population in Siena. In addition, due to the tusha of the residents by the Roman Emperor, Siena was finally ruled by the Medici family of Florence and incorporated into the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in the second half of the 16th century.
From Florence, it takes just over an hour by bus to reach the old town of Siena, where the attractions are right at the bus stop, very convenient.
