Beware hours are limited. 1:30 to 4:30pm as it is run by some fantastic volunteers. My mum and I spent two hours strolling through the wonderful collection of local and regional history. Well presente...
My wife and I thought we would drop in and have a look at the museum on the way back to Devonport. First impression was....its a bit run down. And it is, but after talking to the friendly VOLUNTEER ...
The team here go out of their way to assist travelers and those interested in the history of the area. the displays are so real and when you enter one room you find that there are more rooms to enter.
If you are into history and finding out about places you visit go check out this museum... it gives you an idea of the early days of Ulverstone and surrounding areas...I love history and love to learn...

A delightful, interesting and well presented museum where you can spend hours reading up on so much history and people of the N W Coast.
Worth a look if on a budget.
