About United Nations Headquarters

The Headquarters of the United Nations is located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood in Manhattan. According to a treaty between the United States and the United Nations, the buildings and lands occupied by the organization have extraterritorial status, meaning they do not fall under the jurisdiction of the US government. The main headquarters complex comprises several buildings including the General Assembly Building, the Conference Building, the Secretariat Building, and the Dag Hammarskjold Library. Visitors can tour most of these places when the various UN organs are not in session. One popular sightseeing attraction is viewing the flags of all the member states, which are arranged in English alphabetical order and line the UN grounds along First Avenue.

The United Nations Headquarters Building (also known as the United Nations Headquarters) is the seat of the United Nations Headquarters. To visit here, tickets are not very expensive. The key is to make an appointment in advance on the official website, especially in Chinese or English. It takes a long time to make an appointment in advance. Otherwise, a week or two ahead of schedule, there will be no places to visit, or you can only listen to Portuguese and Spanish explanations.

The United Nations Headquarters is located at the intersection of First Avenue and 46th Street on Manhattan Island, New York. It consists of the Secretariat Building, the Library and the General Assembly Hall. The courtyard has the shape of the earth, implying that the United Nations is related to the world. There are also pistol sculptures with bending tubes, which imply that peace is not to be fought.

Official booking, this is an international territory, there are Chinese guides, but we ordered in English, Chinese group is still relatively small. It is suggested to arrive 1.5 hours in advance. First, we need to go to the opposite office to get the certificate. The queue is not the most, but the efficiency is very slow. Then we enter the building at the security check. I arrived half an hour in advance. As a result, I missed my group and could not change to the next one free of charge. We need to buy the tickets again. Later, the staff paid me four children's tickets! It's their fault, but there's no way you can't get in. The whole trip lasts about an hour. Take you to the parliament hall. If there are meetings in it, you can't go in. And explain the function of the United Nations, in fact, the theme is love and peace. It is especially recommended to send postcards in the United Nations, where you can customize stamps that belong to your own photos, and United Nations stamps can only be sent from there, if you take them outside the mailbox can not be sent. In addition, you can stamp the United Nations stamp on your passport, which is very meaningful! There are restaurants in the United Nations, just like IKEA's: 20USD/Person Policy: Passport-carrying, irrevocable, Self-Access to the official website: visit.un.org

The United Nations Headquarters is located in New York, which was visited last year. However, due to time reasons and lack of in-depth visits, this year has the opportunity to visit in detail. Because of the cold weather, the national flags of various countries have not been raised, but there is a continuous flow of visitors. As a member country, you can only show your passport and buy tickets to enter.

The United Nations Headquarters, located on the east side of Manhattan, New York City, is the world's political center. It is located in an international territory consisting of four buildings: the Secretariat Building, the Conference Hall Building, the General Assembly Hall and the Hammarskjld Library. Its landmark building is a knotted pistol, which symbolizes the desire for world peace. The hall displays photographs of successive UN secretaries-general and gifts from countries.

Headquartered east of Midtown Manhattan, the United Nations was founded in 1945 after the end of World War II to replace the League of Nations in stopping the war and providing a platform for dialogue among nations. Visiting the United Nations is free but requires advance booking of the time and language choices to attend the tourists'group. The Chinese group is the most difficult to make an appointment. You can also buy tickets to choose different special tour groups, especially an English group for children, so that adults and children can have a deeper understanding and experience, recommendation! It takes about 3-4 hours. At the end of the day, you can also send your business card at the post office of the United Nations.

I went a few years ago without tickets. Tickets are now being collected. It's going through a very strict security check. The hall has to be charged for entry alone. We didn't go. We visited the exhibition inside. The souvenir shop is very good. Buy a postcard and send it to yourself with a UN postmark.

Before entering the United Nations Headquarters Building, "Political Examination" was needed, and the guard brother at the entrance of the office had to speak fluent Beijing dialect, so the serious and dignified photo was completed in the deliberate Erhua sound BGM of "Today's Weather is Great".
