There's no doubt #Hallstatt is stunningly beautiful - from every angle.I'm just glad I managed to squeeze a trip in now, because I've never had the desire to go due to it being the epicentre of crowds. I'd love nothing more as a travel expert, than to re-wire the tourism of Hallstatt. While pristine and wonderful in nature, the town feels like a museum piece and caricature of Austrian culture, when Austria is so much more
If you are visiting the Salzkammergut you will likely pass through the spa town of Bad Ischl on the way to the lakes. Emperor Franz Joseph l spent his summers here and it's where he met Sissi, so it must be lovely! It's certainly worth the stopover. Which isn't complete until you indulge at Cafe Zauner (of which there are two - but the riverside is more romantic).didn't have the chance to visit the Kaiservilla this time, so it's an excuse to go back, as well as pick up another Zaunerstollen!
Hallstatt to me is the most beautiful part of our Eurotrip! It is a fairytale 🧚♀️ village accessible from Salzburg or even Vienna by trai or buses. The town is quite small, you can walk around in one day. You can also take rent a boat and have some romantic time with your loved one 💕
Saint Wolfgang, located in upper Austria holds some of the most paradise like view on earth. The natural beauty has captured my hearts and I cannot stop staring and the beauty of the lake. There is no other word to describe this other than: Amazing. #merrychristmas
We decided to never stop exploring, even if we are forced to leave our comfort zone sometimes! And it's definitly because of places like this. A cute small village.
Staying in St Wolfgang, we used this ferry service on two of our days. The boat trip across the lake was pretty beautiful.
Mountain lakes surrounded by rock mountains, endless hiking and rock climbing. We loved this day out in goasu!
The cemetery now has become a tourist attractions. Reflects the local people to respect and take good care of life.
