Asian Continent Geographic Center

The Asian Continental Geographic Center is referred to as "Asia Center". In 1992, after scientific calculation by the Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, it was determined that 87°19'52" east longitude and 43°40'37" north latitude were the geographical center of the Asian continent. The north gate of the scenic spot is a grid structure with eagles spreading its wings to show the take-off of Asia. On both sides of the main road, there are three-dimensional glass and steel sculptures with specific images of Asian countries, which can be described as the concentration of the customs of all countries. After crossing the main road, you can see the Yaxin Pagoda. The stainless steel ball on the top of the tower represents the earth, and there is a vertical center under the steel ball, which is directly facing the heart of the Asian miniature in the center of the tower base, indicating the location of the "Asian Heart". The shape of the tower body is the first letter "A" of the English word Asia (ASIA), which reflects the humanistic thought of "the sky is round and the place is harmonious". At the beginning of the measurement, Yaxin just erected a wooden sign post, and now it has developed into a scenic spot. From Yaxin, standing at an altitude of 1280 meters, looking around, there is the Bogda Ice Peak in the east, the Tianshan Mountains in the south, the rapids of the Toutun River in the west, and the Junggar Basin in the north, the mysterious feeling arises spontaneously.
