The City of Science and Art is unique in design and full of artistic flavor. There are bands around, and it's fun to walk around. The whole complex of Art and Science City includes the Hemisf & _ric (with an IMAX cinema), the Prince Philippe Science Museum (El Museo de Las Ciencias Pri ncipe Felipe), the Queen Sophia Theatre (Palau de Las Artes Reina Sofia) and the Oceanogr &fico. This group of buildings with strange and beautiful shapes is lined up from north to South with great momentum. And the large area of water surface design is a magic stroke, so that these buildings seem to be floating in the ocean in the island of dreams.
Valencia, the Pearl of the Mediterranean, is the home of Santiago Calatrava, a master architect of structural origin. It took Santiago 14 years to build the city of Valencia Art and Science, a masterpiece in the history of modern Spanish architecture. The Art and Science City was built on the dry riverbed of the Turia River in the 1960s. Considering its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and its dry weather, the architect made water the main element of the layout, allowing all buildings to float on the water. The riverbed is built into a vibrant municipal park, which perfectly harmonizes the latest and pioneer modern architecture dating back to 138 A.D. and the new millennium.
Valencia City of Science and Art is a masterpiece of modern architectural art with refreshing shape and exquisite beauty. The city is divided into the Astronomical Museum, Prince Philip's Science Palace, Art Palace, Ocean Park and Botanical Garden. The shark-like skeleton of the main body of the building implies that the skeleton of the building has been impacted by the sea day and night for countless times. The design of the large area of water surface is unique. It makes these buildings float on the dream island of the ocean, and expresses the perseverance of human beings in exploring knowledge.
The City of Arts and Sciences, located on the Tulia River bed in Valencia, has dried up, but its architecture has made it a new landmark. The whole building complex is very large, we only saw a part of the appearance, is a shark-shaped glass building, the shape of the atmosphere and beautiful. Its designer is San Diego Calatrava, a local architect of Valencia. It was built in 1996 and can be regarded as one of the outstanding models of modern architecture.
The City of Science and Art in Valencia consists of three separate but interconnected buildings. The building that looks like a helmet is actually a 3-D cinema. The rectangular building in front of you is a science exhibition hall, which is divided into several sections and Exhibition areas. There are also some games and facilities for you to understand scientific knowledge and phenomena in practice. There is a display cabinet for hatching chickens to see the whole process of chicken birth. The other one is the aquarium. When we went there, we were renovating it and not opening it to the outside world. Three libraries can buy joint tickets, either alone or two. We bought the first two libraries for about 20 Europeans. The whole building has a modern sense, which is in sharp contrast with the historical buildings in the city.
The City of Arts and Sciences can be said to be the absolute landmark building of Valencia, known as architecture from the future. The whole architectural design is ingenious, just like a shell, which is beautiful in the distance. This is the scenic spot that Valencia must come to. There are totally different sceneries during the day and at night. You can't miss them.
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. There is a queer row of buildings on the dried-up river bed of Turia. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, an internationally renowned architect born in Valencia, it took 16 years to gradually build a group of modern buildings full of visual impact and imagination. Some of them are like helmets, some like fish bones are really open-minded designs. It is said that the night scenery is more beautiful.
Valencia City of Arts and Sciences is a model of architecture. Its exquisite and atmospheric architectural structure is pleasing to the eye, lingering and forgetting to return. Walking through the buildings, you can go to the movies, drink coffee and enjoy delicious food.
Faya Festival, the old city is closed, and the bus at the entrance of the railway station is out of service. It was planned to go to the Art City. In the afternoon, I was going to visit the old city. Now, it's only natural. By the way, because the festival is happy, all the scenic spots in the old city are free, and there will be gunfire in front of the city hall in the afternoon. After all, the Science City is really beautiful and futuristic. I can feel the bright and happy feeling.
