Arrived somewhat early for Spain at around 8.30 but we're given a table and provided with delicious olives, peanuts a freshly cooked potato chips to eat whilst we waited. The staff didn't speak a lot of English but we got by and they were very pleasant and helpful. We chose 4 dishes between the two of us which was ample and these were freshly cooked to order. They arrived as they were cooked which was fine with no excessive wait between each dish, and they were really tasty and cooked perfectly. There is a selection of traditional dishes and more contemporary tapas dishes and a small selection of deserts. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next night. Just wished the Spanish ate a bit earlier :)
This is a difficult restaurant to describe as its sort of a tapas place but also a restaurant as you order lots of small plates to share and they have some fabulous dishes that are a mixture of typical Spanish and International so something to keep most people happy - we thought we had booked it online but i made a mistake and when we arrived they were packed to the gunnels and even though it was my mistake they shifted things around and squeezed us in - for this alone i would give them 5 stars as they were so accommodating its was wonderful and made us feel special :-)
I wasn't a big tapas fan before discovering this little gem. Everything is delicious and far from ordinary tapas. Think of a Michelin-starred chef in an informal context. Attentive and discreet service. There is only one problem: you will feel the desire to go there several times to try everything there is on the menu! Very good value for money. Marvellous and highly recommended.
Due to TripAdvisor and the very good ratings we were very much looking forward to this lunch session including the Whatsapp reservation. The service was nice and open and the daily menu was looking interesting on paper only!, as it stopped right there. Due to what we ordered as starter: a rice dish, which was served from the microwave directly (visible from our table) with a more than horrible smell and even though we ate it -to be optimisic- I had to get rid of it shortly after. The main course is not worth mentioning any further, as the eggplant with meat was eaten by my husband (only the meat) because he was really hungry and my main dish pastry with vegtables (left it on plate). It seems we had no luck with the food in Valencia even though the city itself and our trip has been really great.
