If you find L'Abattoir, Ctrip's gourmet forest, in Gastown, you are already standing in Gaoler’s Mews. Gastown is the oldest district in Vancouver, and Jailer Plaza was once the first prison in Vancouver. There are now restaurants and some shops with western style.
If you have the opportunity to visit the night market in Vancouver, you should go to the square this time, it is really interesting.
The jailer square Gaoler’s Mews is really hard to find. If it hadn’t happened to find the words Gaoler’s Mews on the jailer’s square in the corner, I suspected that what I found might be a fake jailer’s square. Built in the 18th century, Gaoler's Mews was originally the first prison in Vancouver. Now it is a small square with a sense of history, with many restaurants and cafes. But from the overall darker color tone of the small square, you can still feel the small depression of the former prison.
The name is a bit interesting, but it’s very lively. I didn’t savor it, but I still think it’s good.
The jailer's square is really interesting, go and see
