There is a children's playground not far from the Christmas train in Stanley Park. Standing here, you can see a monument erected, for Japanese Canadian War Memorial, to commemorate the 190 Japanese fighters who represented Canada on the front line in World War I, 54 of whom were blooded by the field. Next to the monument is a Japanese cherry tree, planted in the monument, spring will bloom warmly.
