Photos of Sunset Beach Park

Sunset Beach, close to the Downtown South and Yaletown neighborhoods in Vancouver, offers small, sandy beaches along the north side of False Creek where biking, cycling and blading trails link to Stanley Park. Grassy areas provide clean sunbathing spots. An off-leash dog park accommodates dogs and their owners. Sit on one of the logs on the beach and watch the sun rise or set, the boats go by or enjoy the antics of seals, birds and otters. Showers are available near the concession stand. If you tire of the beach, the Vancouver Aquatic Centre is nearby or you can catch a ferry to Granville Island.
