After escaping a horrible experience at a Restaurant a few doors down, my wife and I chose to give this place a try, how glad we are we did. We ate from the tourist menu, simple food but very well done, delicious and clearly freshly cooked. We were looked after by the friendly attentive staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. In total, we had two spaghetti dishes too start, two main courses, each with a side, dessert each, a half ltr of wine and two spritz for just under &euro;60 All in all a great experience and I would recommend to anyone.

The second time in this pleasant restaurant, which was found in a place of the Jesuit complex. A pleasant atmosphere, a simple environment. The dishes we eaten (spaghetti with chickens and bigodes in a sauce of ash) very very good. Correct prices. We&#39;ll return.

The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The only thing we liked was the panacotta with the peanuts, which was not exceptional but the rest was very good.

the food was amazing! authentic italian is what we wanted and that&rsquo;s what we got. all reviews were recommending the seafood spaghetti and it certainly didn&rsquo;t disappoint.

Authentic pizzeria in San Polo! This establishment serves up the real deal in pizza and we are so glad we chose this quaint spot! There were so many pizzas to choose from that w finally asked our server for her suggestion, and chose the &quot;Rustico&quot; from those. Who would have thought that a pizza with peas on it, Yes... I said peas- along with mozzerella, gorgonzola, red sauce, and soppressata would have been so delish! The crust was thinner and perfectly crisp too!  The background overhead jazz tunes were a nice touch to the atmosphere....A must try when in Venice!

They are really nice and the food is great! I liked this restaurant so much that I went there twice. And the glasses, maybe from Murano, are really beautiful ! I really recommend this restaurant

The restaurant was autentic, the food was good and there were good lokal dishis. Good service.

The food was like home cooked and not covered in multiply sauces or oils. The servers were excellent and I would definitely visit Riva Alto again.

The entire front of the Riva is open. Watching gondolas and boats on the canal in sunshine I enjoyed a Perfect Spaghetti Negra with delicious pieces of squid in their ink sauce. Rialto Bridge will be undergoing extensive remodelling. Already popular the Riva will be even busier when works are completed. It&#39;s a great location being the first restaurant by Bridge. Fritto Misto (secondi) consisted of fish, calamari and prawns accompanied by fresh salad dressed in red wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Happy days!

This restaurant is located on the Grand Canal closest to the Rialto Bridge. We ate outside along the river in an outdoor seating area with very busy tourist foot traffic, so it is a great place to people watch. For as convenient and touristy it is, we were surprised how good the pizza was: classic, thin crust out of the pizza oven. We had the vegetariana and the procuitto e funghi. Very tasty and perfect meal along with Proseco and Morreti Beer. The pizza was as good as any we have had after 8 days in Italy.
