It’s not a family of sanitizing before meals, so there is no photo. I was in Nadi on the last day,
I decided to spend the money I had with my wife on food, but I was too lazy to walk far.
The Shanghai Ocean House in Nadi Port, absolutely highly recommended, medium green onion ginger lobster
900 grams, 78 Fijian dollars, a small portion of seafood fried rice, the two served almost five bowls,
It's a pity that there are no shellfish dishes, personal feeling, overall price and portion
And the taste is better than the ones in town. If travel time is enough, have eaten in town
You can try it.
This is a Chinese restaurant with a quiet environment and fresh and delicious ingredients. It is very suitable for the tastes of Chinese people. The price is not expensive and the price is very high. It is worth tasting.
Good place if you are hungry for Chinese food in Suva. All the regular dishes and more. Portions are huge, every dish had a choice of S, M or L, and the S size was too much for one person, especially if you want some starters too. Friendly but slightly shaky service by young Fijian girls. Had a great evening there.
We've been there for lunch there. Almost all dishes were just overwhelmingly oversupplied with oil, especially one of meat dishes was so oily, that it dipped off from a chopsticks like a water. Few other dishes, like soup was ok though, but in any case, having good understanding what chinese food is, i can not give much praise for what we had. Very average at best. BUT, what you get is really spectacular view from a window. I am attaching the photo of it to my review.
I went for lunch with 2 others recently. The food was disappointing and not to its usual standard. We had a large fish dish (sweet & sour), combination fried rice (medium) and beef with ginger and shallots - our bill was almost $170! The beef was salty and not very nice frankly. The fish was okay but had probably been in the deep freeze for a couple of days. The so called 'combination' fried rice did have some shrimps but not much else and no vegetables, so in that regard the menu description was misleading. To top matters off, the doors were shut and only one AC was working so it was quite stuffy. The disappointment was that before Xmas we had booked one of the private rooms at the restaurant and the food wasn't too bad then so I am just wondering whether the usual chef had the day off. The waitresses by the way were quite loud and noisy and shouting at one another as if in normal conversation. I won't be in a hurry to return to this restaurant which is a pity.
I went here with a couple of friends, we each ordered a different dish, took about 30mins for one of my friends dishes to arrive, the rest arrived 15mins later. The wait was ridiculous. The chicken tastes a bit doggy and doesnt feel like real chicken. Staff are friendly and helpful.
