I really liked this place. I usually don't like breaded meat, but their breaded chicken and Schnitzel were very good, crispy outside and soft and juicy inside. We tried three of their main wines, all were very good. The price is also very good. The service was slow, it was okay for me, as we were sitting in the garden in a nice evening. It made us to drink more wine, which was totally fine with me :) The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Also, they wash their glasses by dipping them into water and bring them out without drying or proper washing. This is not usually fine with me, but it was okay in this restaurant. I took it as part of its authenticity, but you may need to be sure that you don't have problem with this. This restaurant had some issues that could make me to give a bad point in another restaurant, but here I really had fun, so I didn't care. This is why I gave it a 5, because it is not easy for me to go to a place and don't care. If a restaurant makes me not to care about every details, and makes me just having fun, it is a great restaurant no matter what.
We wanted to try out a typical heuriger and jumped on the tram to the end of the line. Torrential rain concerned us on the journey and it was still raining when we arrived at the journey's end. We headed for the nearest heuriger and this was it. Sadly the weather was poor so it wasnt possible to sit outside in the gardens and I think the experience is diminished if this is not possible. Service was quick and cheerful and we had mugs of wine in front of us promptly. The food is buffet style and weighed for cost after you have chosen. A range of meats and some side dishes such as potato salad etc. The food was fine and the atmosphere was good. We ate in a large hall with shared tables.
