The park is peaceful and relaxing. There are several picnicking areas in the park. We chose to have lunch near the fishing pond and boat ramp. There are big shade trees and lots of tables available...

Stop and see if you are in the area
It's interesting, but unfortunately there are lots of homes right next to it that as far as I'm concerned ruins what would be a lovely spot with a river view.
