Warsaw Barbican

The Barbican was built in 1548, it is directly situated where the Old Town merges into in the New Town. It served as an access gate for the Old Town and is integrated directly into the Warsaw City Wall that surrounds the Old Town.

The first time I saw the red brick city gate and city wall in Europe, it was very similar to the Chinese city wall. There was a familiar feeling. The city gate and city wall were very thin. Can it play a defensive function? The moat was dry. We also had a casual meal by the way.

It is a new building rebuilt after World War II. People still feel the atmosphere of war here, and now it's a famous tourist attraction in Warsaw.
