Good food, nice atmosphere, service with a smile. Clean bistro style. We had a glass of wine, a Mediterranean salad and pizza. Very enjoyable.
Aria has really good lunchtime mega-salad deals and a wonderful outdoor seating area that's really nice especially when the weather is good. Inside is great too, but the service is very inconsistent. Some days they're very attentive, other days - you don't exist. The white bean soup is awesome as are many other items on the menu, and the pizza is decent, tho I've had better elswhere. Also know that weeknights, and evenings, the place (especially the bar) is polluted with Customs and Border Protection staff and a lot of Border Patrol agents. So... if you're illegal... don't go to Aria. Otherwise, enjoy yourself. Take the Bue or Orange line metro to Federal Triangle stop and come out at the plaza entrance and Aria is right infront of you. Metro escalator tip: STAND on the right. WALK on the left. And don't forget it, lest the workforce runs you down.
