GET THE ROAST BEEF SANDWICH!!!! Freshly carved beef roast is the heart of this sandwich and it&#39;s truly slices and chunks of beef carved fresh off a roast right there. The pumpernickel bread was also spectacular, being soft and fragrant and very very tasty. The staff was quick and efficient and did it all with a smile, especially the cashier who seemed really sweet and helpful. All this for less than $8 is awesome and the sandwich was big enough that it kept me satisfied until after my work day was over. Cafe Phillips in one visit made my short list of places to visit every time I&#39;m in the city.

This is an authentic American fast food, the location is in the city center, close to the subway station, the traffic is extremely convenient, the burger filling here is rich, bite down, full of layers. very good.

This restaurant is called Bistro Bis, and it is also a local restaurant that is quite famous. The environment of this store is OK. It is also a more traditional western restaurant. I ordered a five-minute steak.

I had an amazing hot corned beef. My daughter had the grilled cheese and said it was the most amazing grilled cheese she ever ate!! My only issue was the fast talking people behind the counter, didn&#39;t appreciate being hurried.

Went with a coworker for lunch today at Cafe Philips. When you walk in it is well organized and despite being busy we got through the line fast. Basically a production line set up to make your sandwich quick and get you on your way. I had the italian sub and my coworker had the beef brisket special. Servings were generous for both sandwiches. The rolls were much better then expected with a good chewy crust the way it should be. Plenty of meat on both sandwiches, the vegitables on mine were fresh. Not much else to say except for the cost ($7.89) which is very reasonable and the quality that is above average makes this a worthy place to go for lunch.

This is a review that hurts me.. This is not a fancy over priced sandwich shop but a modest place that makes sandwiches to order from breakfast until 4pm. A well oiled machine. Today the oil plug was off and the oil pan was dry. How can you take so much time in roasting off beef brisket, whole turkeys, ham, corned beef and pastrami.... Prepare house made egg , tuna and chicken salads.... And slice tomatoes and pull apart beautiful leaves of lettuce AND THEN reach into a freezer and pull out a sheet. 1 single 1.50 ounce sheet of pressed meat product aka STEAK-UMM (steakumm.com/products/be&hellip;)?? Takes a deep breath.. Wooosaaaah.... Now... I have eaten my fair share of this product as a kid and through college and it is not a crappy product but not my first, second or third choice. To hear the buzz while standing in line and salivate while this fine tuned assembly line piles huge handfuls of freshly carved meats on more than a generous selection of fresh sliced breads came to a screeching halt when that single sheet of pressed meat hit the grill. I thought he was going to repeat the motion.... I&#39;m still waiting but I think it is too late for that.... The saving grace were the consistent smiles and added fresh onions, bell peppers and roasted mushrooms.The sandwich was just ok... It tasted as if I ordered a veggie sub with meat as an added condiment.... I am not going to say that I am not going to return to this place buy i really don&#39;t think I will be ordering this sandwich again. For you.... Mental note to self.
