Had the buffet breakfast at the North Gate Grill while staying at the Capital Hilton. Very wide variety to choose from. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Blt steak, a steak restaurant in downtown Washington, is specializing in steak. Local friends treat guests to dinner. We took the subway specially and walked a few minutes after getting off the subway.

I was in town for business and stayed at the Capital Hilton. I decided to eat breakfast in the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered soft scrambled eggs which came with ham, potatoes and toast. The eggs were done the way I liked them, three large pieces of grilled ham, potatoes that were cooked perfectly and a grilled tomato and asparagus on the plate. Usually I have not found hotel breakfast meals this good and will certainly return the next time I am in DC.

Grabbed breakfast on the way out for sightseeing. Very clean, staff was decent. Prices for omelets and sandwiches ran a bit closer to a high end hotel then a mid range. Food was good.
