In mid-March we spent four days in the Washington DC metro area. The first evening we discovered a Potbelly sandwich restaurant in Springfield VA. We ordered the Mediterranean salad and loved it very much. The next night we were in the Mount Vernon square area of Washington DC and found another Potbelly restaurant at 1050 K St NW and ordered the same salad. Once again, it was excellent. They have a variety of salads, sandwiches, 4 kinds of soup daily and the prices are quite modest for being in the capital of our country., We highly recommend this small chain.
