My wife and I had dinner here before a show (Max Major) at the Howard Theater. Beers were great, lots of selection, many types to choose from. Cheese plate was wonderful. I liked the chicken wings and my wife liked the mac & cheese. As an added bonus, we found an empty parking space with no meter right outside the front entrance (on a rainy evening as well!) . You'll enjoy yourselves here.
Delicious food but you are really here for the beer! Excellent and well worth the visit to an interesting area. Bare walls and street art decoration give this place a super edgy feel. They serve taster size beers so you can enjoy a selection or tell them what you like in a beer and they will have something to suit you. Some are seasonal so you will need to come back. All is excellent!
This place came recommended but I was disappointed with my entree! I had the chicken but could only eat the edges (that tasted good) but the center chunk was not chewable. It was hard to sink my teeth in. I couldn't figure out why! My only explanation was that it was cooked straight from a frozen piece of chicken. Being with others, I didn't bother to complain but will not want to go back. :-(
