One night we found this bar when we walked back to the hotel. One night it was about 10 o&#39;clock so we wanted to call for something to drink and a snack. There was a note on the wall that said they served food before closing. We found a table and a young guy named Cody greeted us. He took our drinks and food and came over often to see us and talk to us. The food was delicious. The interior of the bar was very bizarre and the decoration was unusual.

Barrel, this is a very popular local American restaurant, this ink-flavored burger, super amazing to me, the meat inside is too full, and the glaze is super thick.

The itinerary is just empty in the morning, so I will try their American breakfast. The pancakes taste good, and toast. The standard American breakfast. The American coffee is very refreshing and the price is relatively close to the people.

The taste is good on the top of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, the eastern end of State Street. Although not geographically in the center of Washington, DC, it has been a focus of attention due to its special status.

A fast food restaurant with local characteristics, the meals inside are scrambled eggs and poached egg bacon, taste good, standard American Western food, bread is also very good, I feel better for breakfast.

We come here over 15 years usually for an early dinner. Most people come here for lunch so be prepared to waimfor lunch. Dinners are not so busy. We had chicken pod thai,drunken noodles, chicken sate and my friend had soup. It was fast, tasted great,mwas more than enough for 4 people and we just enjoyed every thing about it! The thai ice teamwas awesome, i never drank it this good anywhere else! Prices are low, but make friends for life by tipping it up to normal standards! :-)

I recently visited this fine establishment with friends and colleagues during Police Week. The food was great and plentiful. The service and staff cared you were there and provided a friendly atmosphere. I&#39;m certain it&#39;s a busy place when the Nationals are in town . Old established neighborhood.

Nice place food good not great.  Great place to get a beer and a burger.  Staff awesome and friendly. Good prices for DC.   Lots of locals here.

Was in Washington DC for work from Scotland, I&apos;m a fan of DDD and went here on the back of that - tucked away dive/food bar that I would never have found otherwise - it was well worth it and would recommend.  Went for breakfast to try it out as was planning to go in the evening with a friend. No problem getting a seat but it soon filled up. Helpful waitress, I had the corned beef hash with coffee, was good food with nice little touches like flavoursome seeds in the toasted bread.   Returned for dinner, got a table no problem again and just the right type of busy, had good local beers, burgers that you can taste the caramelised crust and good service. The setting and atmosphere really do lift this place above the run of the mill.

It was ok! No frills! I didn’t have to wait for a table. There was only one person waiting on all the tables in the place. I got the Joe’s West Virginia sandwich. It’s a cheesy roast beef sandwich with what tastes like 1000 island dressing on it.

What a wonderful place to eat.  We visited at 5.30pm and were shown straight to a table.  Wonderful atmosphere that got very busy very quickly.  Great waitress service and very tasty plentiful food.  We visited whilst on holiday after seeing this place on Diners, Drive Ins  and Dives and it didn’t disappoint.  Would highly recommend this place, not just for the food or the service but for the overall experience.  If I lived closer I would definitely eat here again .

Great atmosphere & Wonderful Food !!

My wife and I went there on a relative&apos;s recommendation. We were in DC as tourists and needed lunch.I just had a cheeseburger and fries but the burger was cooked as ordered very good. It was mid afternoon and not very busy so James the bartender kept us entertained with stories from his long career as a barkeep in the area.   Old school at it&apos;s best, thanks James!!

Great place for regular folks.
