Highly recommend booking a bike tour to see this memorial and the many others in D.C.. There are so many fun details, facts, and history you would miss out on without a tour.

    Incredible!

Capitol Hill is a spot that serves as an image of our nation's government, our leadership, and our decisions as a nation that decide our place in world history. I could not recommend it enough.

    Spectacular seat of USA's government

Capital Hill is very stately in appearance. Politics aside, it is suggestive of a solid, well-functioning government. Certainly the architecture is beautiful.

    Nice

A lot of security around which made me feel safe. Loved walking through here, and got some good camera shots.

Additional Information

Introduction

When you are in Washington D.C., see the place where two of the United States’ three branches of government pass and interpret laws, Capitol Hill. It features one of the most recognizable American landmarks, the U.S. Capitol, which gives tours from Monday through Saturday, if you book them in advance. The area is also home to the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. If you are looking for something artistic rather than political, then visit the Folger Shakespeare Library. If you prefer a museum, then give the Navy Museum, the Sewall-Bellmont House or the Smithsonian National Postal Museum a try.
