About United States Capitol

The United States Capitol is the home of the United States Congress and the seat of the legislative branch of the US federal government. It is located on Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The original building was completed in 1800 and subsequently expanded. Chambers for the bicameral legislature are located in each of the building's wing, the House of Representatives occupies the south wing and the Senate occupies the north wing. Like the principal buildings of the executive and judicial branches, the Capitol is built in a distinctive neoclassical style and has a white exterior. Tours of the interior are possible; however, these are best arranged by contacting individual members of Congress who consider tours part of their constituent services.

Washington, as the capital and political center, has little impetuosity and prosperity in New York metropolis, and is more a cultural and historical accumulation. The U.S. three separate powers, Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court, are all here. Take the bus more than eight o'clock in the morning and go straight to the Capitol Square in the center of the city. This open garden park, about 3 kilometers long, is the site of national celebrations and ceremonies in the United States, and almost all of Washington's major attractions are covered by it. First of all, we will visit the Capitol Building at the eastern end. This ancient Roman style building is well known all over the world. It has become an image symbol of American democratic politics. It is also one of our lifelong aspirations to go in and have a look. From the stone steps of the fountain in front of the building to the elegant and noble basement lobby, under the guidance of enthusiastic staff, they queued for tickets (free of charge), and then they were grouped into groups led by the instructor to visit inside. First enter the Capitol Cinema and watch a movie about 10 minutes introducing American democratic politics. The opening remark of the film is that such a vast land, different nationalities, different beliefs, different classes, different voices can make all these differences reserved separately and unite to form a strong country. This is the marvelous greatness of American democratic system. Yeah! Since the day when human beings have a country, they all live under totalitarian rule, and their beliefs and interests are inconvenient. It is difficult to live in a country with their own beliefs and interests. The United States has become a powerful country through democracy, and naturally can proudly promote its superior political system to other disputed backward countries. After watching the movie, he went to the circular hall on the third floor, which contained historical murals and statues of well-known state legislators. Listen to the lecturer pouring out his historical story. The parliamentarians'defense venue is not open to ordinary tourists and can not bet on the style of these eloquent speakers.

The U.S. Capitol Building is the seat of the U.S. Congress, located in Washington, D.C. Americans regard the Capitol as the supreme symbol of state power owned by the people, governed by the people and enjoyed by the people. The Capitol was laid by President Washington on September 18, 1793 and put into use in 1800. During the Second American-British War in 1814, it was burned by the British and some buildings were destroyed. Later, the conference rooms, round roofs and round halls of both houses of the Senate and the House of Representatives were built, and many times they were rebuilt and expanded. To visit the rooms of the Senate and the House of Representatives and appreciate the dome of the building and its art collection, you need to stay here for at least an hour. If you want to get a taste of the Capitol, you'd better contact the senator or congressman before you visit to see if you can participate. From Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 to 16:30, visitors to the Capitol are open. Of course, you'd better book it before you go. Because of the advance booking, we were able to go inside for sightseeing. The booking procedure is very simple. You can see it on the official website of the Capitol Building on the Internet. Anyone can make an appointment, and it's free. When you go in, you will give each person a headset, followed by a tour guide. The main visitors were some artworks on display and the transparent roof of the Capitol. It has its own souvenir shop, which can sell gifts, business cards and other things.

Very magnificent building, pure white solemn building, in the blue sky background, as beautiful as painting. Not many people. In order to enter the security inspection, internal visits are organized, and will be divided into groups led by people, while explaining and visiting. First it reviews American independent historical movies, and then it enters the hall. The circular dome, like a church, is full of painted pictures and reliefs. There are statues of presidents and celebrities in the hall, many historical allusions affecting the development of the United States. Because this is Washington's commanding heights, also known as Capitol Hill.

This is a collaborative visit with George Washington University in the United States, which allowed us to visit the Capitol Building. It is usually open to the outside world and needs to be booked in. We passed strict security checks, walked down the corridor, and began to visit gradually under the leadership of the staff in red uniforms. There are many statues inside the building. Represents the major historical figures of the states. The dome in the center of the building is beautiful, symbolizing the ascent of the father of Washington. Next to the wall are paintings of historical events.

The Capitol Building of the United States is located in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. It is the seat of the United States Congress. It is built on a 28-meter-high Capitol Hill. The Capitol was laid by President Washington on September 18, 1793 and put into use in 1800. During the Second American-British War in 1814, it was burned by the British and some buildings were destroyed. Later, a conference room, a circular roof and a circular hall were built in both chambers of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The central circular hall is the heart of the Capitol building. From the outside, the northern chamber of the magnificent building is the Senate, while the southern chamber is the House of Representatives. The white Capitol building is surrounded by lawns and woods and becomes a landscape.

US CAPITAL www.visitthecapitol.gov Opening Time: Monday to Saturday, 8:30-4:30 free ride to FEDERAL CETER SW, walk. The Capitol was laid by President Washington on September 18, 1793 and put into use in 1800. Burned by the British during the Second American-British War in 1814, it was rebuilt and expanded many times. Americans regard the Capitol as the supreme symbol of the people-owned, people-governed and people-enjoyed regime, as well as the core building of Washington National Square. The simpler way to visit is not to make an appointment. The Capitol Building has a small number of tickets every day. We went to the queue at 8:10 in the morning and ranked in the top ten. Immediately after the security check-in at 8:30 in the Liberation Hall, we made an appointment to the first batch at 8:40. We were given a ticket and a sticker with a bar code and a visit time on it. The booking desk has a guidebook in Chinese. Waiting near the Statue of Liberty, a commentator led the entrance at 8:50, and more than twenty people in groups were given earphones. At the entrance, I watched a short film about why and how the United States established Congress and its operation, and the relationship between Congress and national life. Then I visited the Central Hall and looked up to see the dome, a famous picture of Washington's feathering ascension. On the walls around the hall are giant canvas paintings reflecting the major events of the American War of Independence and early pioneering development. The hall is surrounded by statues of Lincoln, the lunar astronaut, the blind Helen Kate and so on. Among the statues are the early Turkish chiefs, parliamentarians, lawyers, nuns, modern farmers, diplomats and so on. According to the Chinese Guide, the 24 statues on display are part of the statues of historical celebrities selected from various states. Two sculptures from each state reflect the contributions of the United States, a diverse nation and its citizens. The lecturer is very dedicated and vivid humor is very popular. Due to the limitation of language, we can only understand a small part. At the same time, there are several groups visiting, the speaker's voice is not very loud, there are earphones to hear. Under the guidance of the tour guide, he also visited the places where members of Parliament met. The whole visit lasted about two hours. At present, the outside of the dome of the Capitol is being repaired.

This is one of my favorite attractions, none of them. Capitol Hill is a beautiful building, which is the most frequently appeared in the news USA . While receiving visitors, the Senate and the House of Representatives meet. The day I went, I was preparing for a press conference. It's incredible that we should be open and dignified. No tickets are required to enter Congress. You can go to the official website of Congress to make an appointment for your entry. It may take a long time to make an appointment. Otherwise, what you see is that the appointment is completed all day. But don't worry if you don't have an appointment. You can queue up without an appointment. Security checks on entry to Capitol Hill are more stringent. Men's belts should go through the machine alone. Water can't be brought in. So when I came out, an old European woman gave me a bottle of water and she said she couldn't bring it in. How did she know I was thirsty: D) Let's first show you a short film about the origin of the U.S. Congress, what bills were introduced and what was done. After watching the short film, there will be a commentator to show you around. In the form of a group, the lecturer explains it to everyone through headphones. There are many American children to visit, patriotic education ah~

The Capitol is often confused with the White House. It's the legislature of the United States. The House and Senate are meeting here. Ordinary people can visit some places. At the time of entering, the security checks were still very strict. In the queue, an old man dropped a bottle at random. Immediately a security guard with live ammunition came over and looked at it carefully.
