Weichang Travel Guide
Weichang is a county in the north of Hebei province on the border with Inner Mongolia. The county is famous for a Qing dynasty royal hunting ground called Mulan Weichang. The TV costume drama 'My Fair Princess' was filmed here. There are numerous tourist attractions and Qing dynasty historical sites, including Dongmiao Palace, the tiger-hunting ground of the Qianlong Emperor, and remains of the Great Wall. Other popular attractions include a large stone statue of the Kangxi Emperor, Jiangjun Lake and the remains of ancient battlefields.
