Weishan Lake is located in Jining City's Weishan County in Shandong Province. The water sources of the lake come from Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui and Henan Provinces. It consists of four interconnected lakes, namely Weishan, Zhaoyang, Dushan and Nanyang, forming one of the largest freshwater lakes in Northern China. Weishan Lake is an important part of China's canal culture. Boats traveling along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal can still sail to Weishan Island. Weishan Island has many cultural monuments to see.
