Introduction
The Seattle Public Library (Central Location) has a Reading Room with a 40-foot high ceiling and seating for 400, boasting magnificent views of Elliott Bay. Insulated glass encloses the building, with a mesh layer covering the parts that receive the most heat. Outstanding architecture. 10th floor has terrific "free" views of Seattle!
Ideally, I wish there was a second library or even a section of library that felt like a castle and/or study, but this is a good library and it's interesting. I love the top floor.
Huge library with interesting architecture. They have story time for kids on certain days and a massive collection of reference books.
Love the Seattle Public Library primarily because it is HUGE. Nearly 10 floors of space and a lot of books and areas to study and get work done. As Downtown Seattle is walkable, you can get here very easily.
