🇨🇳 The old site is located in Jiangxin Island. In 1876, the Treaty of Yantai between China and Britain added Wenzhou to the port of commerce. In April of the next year, the British Consul entered Wenzhou. In Qingguangxu 20 years (1894), a three-story Western-style building was built as a consulate. The area is 1309 square meters and it is a three-story brick and wooden structure. The surface is 14 meters wide and the depth is 11 meters. The middle entrance hall has a main ladder, six rooms on each side. The facade is equipped with coupon-column corridors, clear water walls, and window brick arch coupons. In 1895, a two-story building was expanded, facing north and south, 11 meters wide and 9 meters deep. In October 2019, it was included in the eighth batch of key national cultural relics protection units. 🇬🇧 Go to the old site of the British Consulate in Wenzhou to learn about history! Forget the shame, the Chinese people stand up!

Looking at this 3-building building alone is not an ideal place to go, but it is especially the part of the island, antique architecture, surrounded by green hills and ancient trees, facing the river, it is worth seeing!
The museum itself is not open, it can only be seen outside. But in terms of architecture alone, the building of the British Consulate in Wenzhou that year was a boutique. Although the conditions in Wenzhou were very poor, the consulate still looked like an artwork today.
