The ancient Diezhou City site is located in Rannao Village, Dianga Township, the eastern suburb of Diebu County, on the platform on the north bank of Bailong River, backed by the top of Zhaga Dushan Mountain. Today's Diebu County was Hechuan County during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. In the second year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty, it was called Diezhou City. The city is about 1000 meters long from east to west and 450 meters wide from north to south. An ancient tomb was excavated near the city. There are also the ruins of the ancient city of Jiamutang 1 km southwest of the ancient city of Diezhou, the ruins of the ancient Fangzhou city 35 kilometers east of the county by the Bailong River, the ruins of the ancient city of Jiuruka and the ancient city of Luoda in Dalagou, all of which are from the Tang Dynasty and Tang built before.
