It is said that the rock took 2.5 billion years to form, but I suspect that the Earth was very geologically active at that time.

We found the only house on airbnb, wave rock country cottage, with two halls and three rooms, suitable for a family size. There's a big campsite next to Wave Rock. If you don't want to go camping, you can also stay in the nearby wave rock motel, where the restaurant stays open until 9:30 p.m. and the bar stays open very late. There's a wave rock lakeside resort right next to the wave rock, which should be good.
