They have nice restrooms and cleaning stations for cleaning fish and nice boatramps with docks for easy launcing and pickup for boats in and out of the water
Close to town, yet in the country. Affordable to get in and friendly for bird watching, hiking or fishing.
We read online that there are prairie dogs in the park and the wife wanted to try for a picture or two - she digs the nature photography. The stifled laugh from the park agent when we asked about them...
Typical state park, the area is clean and close to town. The water is muddy but people do swim in the water.
This place needs lots of improvements starting at the gate all the way to the boat ramp. Started using the free boat ramps not worth the price or bad service you pay for.
