The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing at the point where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join together in downtown Wichita. It’s a beautiful place to visit for all age...

Beautiful statue and bridge. Easy to access and nice area to explore and learn from the plaques along the wall near the statue.

This is a very informational park. Go during the day to walk and learn. The night lighting is only at 7pm for like 15 minutes
We are Coming back!
We came on a freezing cold rainy day. We will come back because we want to get out and explore. We will also come to see the Ring of Fire!
Must do in Wichita
We walked the river trail from Douglas to the Keeper of the Plains and back on the other side of the river. A beautiful monument, you can walk around it close up. At night there's a fire ceremony afte...
