The loneliness of historical Route 66 starts from Kingman. Several cactus in the desert landscape of Arizona grows up in the desert of western movies. A transit small city. Long-distance truck drivers and travelers will stop for one night. The town is very small. So Kingman is like a distant cloud in the past. Since Kingman has been climbing, the altitude of Williams has been continuously climbing. Williams' altitude has unconsciously reached 2000 meters, so the whole town is still in the winter snow scene along Route 66. The short 2-hour journey from Kingman to Williams has increased from 1,000 meters to an altitude of 2,000 meters. Even the sun at noon can’t melt the snow on the roadside. The original plan was that the town would only stay in the afternoon and drive the car. It takes another hour to Tusayan (the town where the Grand Canyon belongs), but after reading many guides, it is said that Williams is the most town-like place on Route 66 and Tusayan’s car The price of the hotel is twice as expensive as here. With a nice name like Wiliiams, I chose to stay in this beautiful place for one night. Although I will go to the Grand Canyon to see the sunrise tomorrow, I will leave in the dark but this town did not let us. Disappointed because we all like it already
