Who doesn’t love the Windsor Castle— The Royal Residence? Stunning castle with mixed Gothic, Victorian and Georgian Architectural elements that makes the castle unique and beautiful! I’ve been here thrice: once when I was younger with family and friends, then in 2019 when my relatives from abroad came to visit us and in during the pandemic, I cycled from London to Windsor Castle! Highly recommend! also Legoland is located nearby and Eaton College as well! There’s a lot to see and do here!

The Windsor Long WalkThis one is for the one who wants to exercise while traveling. The Long Walk of Windsor is indeed a long walk. It’s a 2.64 mile (4.2 Km) long straight path which runs from the Windsor Castle through the Windsor Castle Park and also the Deer Park to the Statue of King George III located on the place called Snow Hill. It’s a very comfortable walk and the road and terrain is easy to walk but the visitors must pay attention to the safety while crossing the fairly surprisingly located busy road which runs across the path about in the middle. The gates near the last third are meant to keep deer park animals from going out. If you visit the village of Windsor or the castle and have a few hours of extra time to spend, doing the long walk and having a picnic near the path is a good idea in my opinion. We have booked a tour from London to go there, and we had the option to include other places like Stonehenge, Bath and more based on our preferences. I would recommend going through tour so you will have the greatest chance of getting in first and also travelling there might be inconvenience as well. I was so excited to watch the guards marching exiting the castle after the ceremony ends. we stayed in Windsor last year so we went to Windsor castle , work was been done so could not go in , but we walked round the perimeter of it Reasons to Recommend: to know that it is one of the royal family residence
royal place to visit. very close to London so easy to get to and lots of free parking on weekends close by. nice place to visit with high streets close by and lots of restaurants too.
Windsor Castle is a royal residence at Windsor in the English county of Berkshire. I really love this castle as it is full of historical stories.
Windsor castle is one of the oldest castle in the world and good. You will enjoy with family and friends. One day trip and you will be refreshed after visiting Windsor and the castle. I have 4 stars and 1 star minus for no photography allowed inside castle (closed areas). Some points are very good and nice and good for photography (open area). Well maintained and green.
