Zhenhaisi

Zhenhai Temple is located on the west side of the Qingshui River in the south of Taihuai Town, Wutai County, Zhangzhou City, Shanxi Province, 5 kilometers away from Taihuai Town. Zhenhai Temple is built on the steep stone mountain mouth, close to the front of the compound, with trees with masts, squatting with stone lions, and building on the second floor of the mountain gate, the Temple of Heavenly King and the Bell and Drum. Zhenhai Temple, built in the Ming Dynasty, is named after the Zhenhai Tower built on the seabed spring next to the temple. It was the residence of Zhangjia Living Buddha from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. It is now a Tibetan Buddhist Gelu Temple. Zhenhai Temple is located in the feng shui treasure land of "Erlong Opera Pearl", surrounded by mountains on both sides, like two flying dragons falling down the valley, arched back, and moved around; the monastery is built on a stone mountain mouth held by the two mountains, like a treasure bead played by two dragons. There are old and tall pine trees in the mountain open mouth, walking in the path of the pine forest, and listening to the pine wind, giving people a feeling of quietness and deepness. Looking at the temple, the peaks on the south side are full of dense fir trees and poplar trees, and the mountains on the north side, the thousand-year-old pine is out of the (mountain free) rocks. This is a scenic area of Wutai Mountain, the shaded and green ancient pine masked mountain temple, in Wutai temple area is still rare.

Zhenhai Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty, and from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China was the residence of Zhangjia Living Buddha, and is now a Tibetan Buddhist Gelu Temple. The monastery is divided into two houses from west to east. The upper house is the XV and 16th Zhangjia Living Buddha's Body and Sherry Hall. The lower house is the main building of the monastery, including: the Temple of Heavenly Kings, the Grand Xiong Pavilion, the Guanyin Palace, the Guangong Palace, the Prayer Hall, and the Pagoda Palace.

One of the ten Huang Temples in Wutai Mountain, the scale is large and the incense is full. This place was once the residence of Zhang Jia's living Buddha in the Qing Dynasty. In the martial arts novel "Lu Dingji", Shunzhi Emperor is here to become a monk, and the monastery is free to open.

There is a small door on the west side of the middle hall to pass through a courtyard, and there is a 15th Zhangjia Living Buddha tomb tower built in Qianlong in 51 years. On the platform of 7:9 meters long, 7 meters wide and 1.3 meters high, there are stone towers that are more than 9 meters high and shaped like algae bottles. The octagonal corners of the tower have Hercules in each corner, and the pedestal has a figure map and a color. There are three sitting Buddhas in the middle of the tower, and there are eight standing statues around. Above the round belly, there are layers of shrinking spires. The tower is chic in shape and beautifully carved.

Self-driving to Wutai Mountain, buy a ticket from the bottom of the mountain, before arriving in Taihuai Town, I saw a temple on the side of the road, Zhenhai Temple. This temple has a step to climb, not high, and you can reach Zhenhai Temple soon. Zhenhai Temple is a place where Shunzhi is out of his home, so you must go to worship. Zhenhai Temple is not very different from other temples. The Grand Xiong Temple and the Temple of Heavenly King are all available, and there are various flowers competing for beauty, which is really good for taking pictures.
