Get off at Banpo subway station and turn left along the road after leaving (real estate development is blocked). The off season is 45 yuan and the peak season is 65 yuan. She comes with her mother. She is over 65 years old with her ID card. Because the bare courtyard in winter is really no scenery, originally intended to rent a guided machine (15 yuan) later felt that the right to hire an explanation (60 yuan) is to save tickets (PS spring to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, I myself also invited a guide, 70 yuan explanation plus help me take photos). There are too many cultural aspects, I really do not have any meaning, it is better to have someone to explain. Museum lectures are not as professional as tour guides. Don't feel that two or three people are losing money. A small number of people can also ask questions and communicate to meet various needs. Museums with digging explanations are really long knowledge!
During the second day in Xi'an, I went out more than 10 o'clock. I compared the Stele Forest Museum with Banpo Museum. The Stele Forest Museum is worth seeing for calligraphy enthusiasts. So I chose the Archaeological Museum which can be traced back to 6700 years ago. Banpo Site is a typical Neolithic Yangshao Maternal Clan Settlement Site in the Yellow River Basin, between 5600 and 6700 years ago. The site was discovered in the spring of 1953 and covers an area of 50,000 square meters. From September 1954 to the summer of 1957, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized nearly 200 archaeologists to excavate five times, lasting nearly four years. The area of the site reached 10,000 square meters, and a large number of valuable scientific data were obtained. A total of 45 houses, 2 fences, more than 200 cellars, 6 pottery kilns, 250 tombs of various types (174 adult tombs, 73 children's urn coffins) and nearly 10,000 cultural relics of production tools and living appliances were found. Banpo Site is divided into three districts: residential area, pottery making area and tomb area. The residential area is the main body of the village. Banpo people belong to the Neolithic Age. The tools used are mainly wooden and stone tools. Women are the main productive forces among Banpo people. They are responsible for making pottery, textiles and raising livestock, while men are mostly engaged in fishing and hunting. The Museum has three showrooms and one site hall. Here, you can see not only the simplicity of human childhood, but also the arduous footprints of Chinese ancestors. Banpo Maternal Clan Village is an organic extension of Banpo Museum. On the premise of actively protecting the sites and according to the archaeological excavation data, it moves the precious heritage from the underground to the ground and reproduces the matriarchal clan society of human beings in three dimensions. It enriches the connotation of the museum, carries forward the long cultural history of China, and gathers the prehistoric art, customs and human feelings of the Yellow River Basin, and the life of folk houses and pastoral areas. It exerts the advantages of cultural relics and integrates scientific research, archaeology, teaching, tourism and entertainment. It is praised as "the first village of China" by Chinese and foreign tourists. Is it a buy-one-get-one-free exhibition? There is also an ancient exhibition of gold, silver and jade on the right hand side of the door.
The Banpo Museum in Xi'an is the site of Banpo, a matriarchal commune. The site was discovered in the spring of 1953 and opened to the public in 1958. The Banpo Museum in Xi'an is located on the East Bank of the Chanhe River in the eastern suburb of Xi'an, north of Banpo Village, and is the first National Museum of prehistoric sites in China. Banpo Site is the first national key cultural relics protection unit, one of the first batch of "100 patriotic education demonstration bases", "10 scenic spots of Xi'an tourism" and "50 places that are most worth visiting by foreigners in China". The site reveals the rich cultural connotations of a typical Neolithic Yangshao matriarchal clan settlement about 6000 years ago, such as social organization, production and life, economic form, marital status, customs, culture and art.
Banpo Site is far away from the main scenic spots, and the railway can go directly. We go there in the afternoon with very few people. It is said that there are tourist groups in the morning, and there are relatively many people. Free travel can choose afternoon. If you are interested in the site, it is worth seeing. You can learn a lot of knowledge about prehistoric culture. An hour is enough for you to visit.
The representative of Yangshao culture from 6000 to 7000 years ago was the beautiful fish-pattern pottery basin with human face. This basin is famous all the time. No one who graduates from primary school knows about it. The object is very large, similar to the noodles basin made of dumplings and noodles at home. Fish basins of various sizes and sizes unearthed from Banpo are mostly painted with simple patterns. Fish patterns are the most common. This is probably a kind of fish totem. It is the initial worship of food by primitive people living near water. Although Banpo Site is simple, the pavilion is carefully laid out, except for the tribal simulation map (see this map always want to shout: for the tribe!). There are even wax figures for restoration of farming and hunting scenes, and few of them can simulate such an emotional recovery. A map shows in detail the distribution of Neolithic sites in Guanzhong area, which shows how brilliant the light of civilization originated in Shaanxi Province is. There is also a table of archaeological culture system. After reading it, we can see that different kinds of civilization in different regions originally developed and evolved at the same time unconsciously.
Banpo Museum: Zhuangzi's maternal society in which people know their mothers do not know their fathers'sunrise but die at sunset. The fish-pattern pottery basin here is very beautiful. Experts speculate that it is a totem. Tombs are also very special. Children who die young are buried outside their homes in urns (like the urns that now store old rice wine, with a hole in the lid to allow the soul to come out, see figure 6). Only adults are buried in the graveyard. We went to Daming Palace in the morning. We went out from Daming Palace and took No. 38 to Banpo Museum. We went back to take Line 1. There were also fish-print artworks in the subway station.
The tickets booked by Ctrip can be verified and used directly at the door, which is very convenient. Few people, good environment, beautiful greening, the bathroom is particularly cool, there are seats in the exhibition hall and garden, tired can rest at any time. You can rent an interpreter or download an APP to listen to it on your mobile phone. It is very suitable for taking children. I believe it can leave a deep impression on children, and it is very helpful to understand the development of human history.
It's very close to the city. You can take the subway directly and get off Banpo Station. It's cold in this season. It's suitable for bringing children. Today there are other exhibitions, oil painting exhibitions and celebrity photography exhibitions. It's worth it. Especially the photography exhibition saw a lot of portrait photographs of the authors you admired before. The whole park is very quiet and the city is very busy.
Holding annual tickets is of course more cost-effective. There is a small cabinet on the right side of the gate for free checking small luggage. Big ones are not asked. Although the first day of my stay in Xi'an did not recommend this place, I had already chosen it when I saw the sights in Xi'an. This is the legacy of human ancestors, and I was not disappointed when I explored it. In pursuit of the miracles of their ancestors in exploiting nature, I could not help sighing that "the trees planted by their predecessors, the cool of their descendants" "the people know their mother, but do not know their father" is the true portrayal of the matriarchal clan. It's worth visiting. Parent-child tours are the first choice.
