The biggest feeling is that it is big, and I have to do a battery car tour. It’s quite satisfactory among so many scenic spots in Xi’an on November, because the place is not crowded, and some venues do well, but unfortunately, I didn’t see the imax movie because of the reinstallation.
The first thing: don’t go here and expect what you see on the Trip.com cover photo!Daming Gong (Palace) is fascinating historically. Countless emperors and their concubines lived here in the 700s AD, and it has a long, colourful history that you can learn all about in the museum. But don’t expect incredibly restored buildings. This place houses many earthed-over ruins, showing the outline of where the buildings were, and a few signs to indicate what was originally there. I liked it, and found it interesting, but it looks nothing like in the photos, apart from the miniature replica town that they have built to show what it once looked like. The museums are definitely worth a visit if you love Chinese history, and learning more specifically about the Tang Dynasty.
Although the palace is in ruins, it was still impressive and a very calming place. a huge park with few visitors and the tickets during off season were cheaper in the park. Despite only the foundation of the palace buildings remaining, I will felt a sense of wonder walking and standing where the empress once was.

Daming Palace National Heritage Park is located in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. After I got off the train at Xi’an Railway Station that morning, I was the first one to come to Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi’an. The park is very large and shows us the ancient Tang Dynasty in all directions. Its glorious history is worth visiting less.
