Jimei Aoyuan Park is located in Jiageng Park on the southeast corner of Jimei Village, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Aoyuan is divided into three parts: the porch, Jimei Liberation Monument and Mr. Chen Jiageng's tomb. Chen Kah-kee (1873-1961), a Singaporean overseas Chinese, was born in Jimei, Xiamen. Since 1913, he has established 12 colleges and universities in Jimei, forming a large-scale Jimei village. In 1921, he founded Xiamen University. Chairman Mao's inscription praised him as "the flag of overseas Chinese, national glory". It is the first among the tens of millions of overseas Chinese.
A very meaningful place, connected with the Jiageng Park, introduces the great achievements of Mr. Chen Jiageng, the pioneer of Chinese education. One of the most important is the tomb of Chen Jiageng. The background of the tombstone is engraved with characters and various reliefs. Dark red is enough. In front of the background is the tombstone. The four characters of the traditional character of Chen Jiageng tomb are quite striking, supplemented by decoration, and the flowers worshiped by visitors are solemn and solemn. There is also Jimei Liberation Monument, which stands high and deserves to be admired. In addition, Mr. Chen Jiageng's various introductions can help us better understand all aspects of him.
Jimei Aoyuan Park is located in Chen Jiageng Park. The architecture in Aoyuan Park has the characteristics of southern Fujian style, building pavilions, red pillars and green tiles, Longji Fengyuan. Mr. Chen Jiageng's cemetery is also built here, and Jimei Liberation Monument stands among them.
It is said that the overall shape of Jimei Aoyuan Garden is a tortoise, which was literally understood at that time, but I did not feel it when I photographed it as a whole. Aoyuan Garden is divided into three parts: the porch, Jimei Liberation Monument and Mr. Chen Jiageng's mausoleum. The porch mainly shows historical relief stories, which is very interesting. Every step of Jimei Liberation Monument is very high, and it's hard to climb up. Walking down the Liberation Monument, you can go to the seaside to take pictures. The sea and the sky are uniform and quiet.
Aoyuan was built by Mr. Chen Jiageng and was also his burial place. Next to it is Mr. Chen Ka Geng Memorial Hall. It's a little cold, and I haven't looked very carefully with my children. When you have time to look at it slowly, there are not only historical stories and allusions on the walls, but also telling you what rice, corn and wheat look like.
Aoyuan is quietly surrounded by Jimei Village, connecting the lake and the sea. It is quiet and beautiful. Especially when the weather is good, the sea and the sky are the same, besides it are leisure walkers. They like it very much. It was originally a small island on the southeastern coast of Jimei. There was a small temple called Aotou Palace, also known as Qianli Palace, which was destroyed by the Japanese during the Anti-Japanese War. In 1950, Mr. Chen Jiageng built Ao Garden on the ruins with an area of 890 square meters. Aoyuan Garden can be divided into three parts: the porch, Jimei Liberation Monument and Mr. Chen Jiageng's mausoleum. On both sides of the porch, there are three-dimensional portrait figures with bluestone reliefs. The figures are full of dry postures and vivid images. To the north is Jiageng Park. Walking around here several times, I feel that I can't see the scenery here enough. Every moment I feel different. The whole person feels edified. Taimei is too quiet, small attractions, I do not love the noise of Gulangyu, only love the quiet of Jimei.
To buy tickets, the exact amount is forgotten. Walking into the gate, you will see Mr. Chen Ka-geng's Memorial hall, which introduces Mr. Chen's life story and the truth of life. The feeling is deep. The monument in the garden is beautifully carved to commemorate Mr. Ka Geng's biography.
Very good. The sea view and comfortable air are also good.
