Wulao Peak is located at the back gate of Nanputuo Temple, formerly called Wulao Mountain. It was one of the eight scenic spots in Xiamen that was assessed by the Qing Dynasty. It was also named one of the top 20 new scenic spots in Xiamen in 1997. Wulao Lingxiao is famous for its tall and straight shape. On the halfway up the Wulao Peak, there is a Doushuaituo Temple, which was built when the Zhuanfeng Monk was appointed as supervisor of the Nanputuo Temple. Deeper into it, you can also see the Acacia trees planted on the Wulao Peak, whick also known as "Taiwan Acacia tree".
