Xiamenshi Gulangyu Fengjing Mingshengqu-Tianzhu Church

Trinity Church (Christian Church) 3 Trinity Church (Christian Church) not only implies the joint construction of three churches, but also contains the doctrine of the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The building of Trinity Hall is unique, with a rare cross-shaped three-dimensional shape. On the yellow tile roof with drainage on all sides, an octagonal bell tower stands in the center, and the top cross towers high into the sky. The red wall is decorated with smooth triangular lines, with twelve doors and sixteen windows open on all sides, which are extremely wide and have the practical characteristics of ventilation, lighting and evacuation. On the 13-meter span wall of the same length and width in the hall, the roof truss with column-free steel beam arch coupons, and the ceiling board ceiling, appear high in the lobby and bring extremely scientific and ideal acoustic effects, becoming the most characteristic of the building A must. No matter from any angle, its majestic and extraordinary momentum are all breathtaking.

The front of the Catholic Church, as far as you can see, are all minaret art. The four-story tower spire rises successively, with a cross at the tip, which stands tall. The appearance expresses a strong styling appeal, with the words "Church of the Lord" engraved on the window lintel, which is the only remaining Gothic church in Xiamen.

Gulangyu Catholic Church is located at No. 34 Lujiao Road. It was originally the Spanish Consulate, which was later revoked and changed to the French Consulate. The four-story tower spire of the most beautiful church on Gulangyu Island, with a cross at the tip, stands tall. In the middle above the middle door, there is a plum-shaped decorative window inlaid with blooming flowers. The window lintel is engraved with the Chinese "天主堂" and the Latin "ECCLESLA CATHOLICA". It is the only remaining Gothic Catholic church in Xiamen. When I visited the church in the past, there was no activity. I watched the place where the church was performing mass from a half-hidden window. The light and shadow shone diagonally, and there was a sense of holiness and solemnity. The church is beautiful under the blue sky, and there must be many newcomers here to witness the beauty.
