The flowers and bonsai cultivated and produced in the Peace Park have already made their debut across the country. The National Flower and Chinese Bonsai Association held the first chrysanthemum exhibition in Shanghai in 1992, and the gift chrysanthemum "two dragons playing pearls" presented by the Peace Park won the first prize. In 1985 and 1986, Hunan Province won most of the awards. In April 1986, Wang Shoudao, the advisory committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, inspected the Peace Park, praised the garden's bonsai with strong Jiangnan flavor, and handwritten the "Xiangtan Bonsai" plaque for the bonsai garden.
