Big Buddha Temple is one of the landmarks of Koh Samui and the most famous temple in the area. In fact, the temple is very small, and a golden Buddha with a height of 12 meters is enshrined in the middle. Because there is no high-rise building on Koh Samui, this golden Buddha statue can be seen from the air and nearby open space. After a long flight of stairs, in the front is the place where the Buddha is located. The Big Buddha Temple is mainly surrounded by a small square around the Buddha. From the corridor on the side of the Big Buddha statue, you can also see the scenery of Bo Phut Beach, which is an excellent place to watch the sunset from. There is also a four-faced Buddha below the statue of the Buddha. Although it is not as popular as tourist attractions in Bangkok, some people still come here to worship.
