Photos of Xingtai Gorges

Located in the western part of Xingtai, the Xingtai Gorges, also known as the Xingtai Grand Canyon and the Taihang Valleys, are a spectacular group of canyons and gorges located within the Taihang Mountains. The canyons found here are both extremely steep and very deep. The stone walls to either side of any of the gorges are reddish colored and extraordinarily spectacular. Furthermore, this site is home to waterfalls, streams, the Former Site of the Huangguo Peasant Army and the Former Site of the Eighth Route Army Arsenal. It is rich in content and an excellent place for both photography and sightseeing.
