After driving for half an hour from Xingyi City, we came to the excavation site of Guizhou Dragon. I thought it was just a relic of historical development. I didn't expect that we went up the hillside and saw the research team that was collecting fossils. Under the careful excavation of the expert team, a piece of precious fossils was mined, and some even less than one centimeter thick, which is particularly fragile. When holding the watch in his hand, holding the treasure is also very exciting and nervous. Careful attention to the rock pieces around you, it is easy to see the bones of Guizhou Dragon, the spine is still clearly visible, and you can even see small fish and shrimp from ancient times. There were excavations at the scene, Professor Jiang Dayong from Peking University, Professor Ryosuke Motani from the University of California, Davis, and Professor Andrea Tintori from the University of Milan, Italy. According to Professor Andrea, both the St. George Mountains in Italy and the Xingyi in Guizhou preserved many marine fossils of the Triassic era. The study of Guizhou Yulong has important scientific value for the evolution of early reptiles and the division of marine strata.
