About Xinjin: Xinjin is situated next to Chengdu in the west of the Sichuan Basin, where the landscape is mainly flat. Major attractions include Neolithic ruins from the Baodun culture, Guanyin Temple and Laojun Hill, the retreat of the great philosopher Laozi. The region is heavily forested and surrounded by two other hills – Changqiu Hill and Muma Hill.
