In the 1920s and 1930s, there were more than 20 national priests and merchants who built up the villas in the mountains. In the country, the generals of the direct warlord, General Yun Yunyu, took the lead to gather the senior generals of the Beiyang warlords such as Wu Peifu and Yuan Shikai. The wealthy merchants have come to visit, creating a palace, and building more than 500 villas. The most famous of them is the palace of Chiang Kai-shek and Chiang Kai-shek.
