Xianfu Temple is near my home and the location is very good. Not far from the opposite is Wenchang Pavilion and Times Square.
Xiancha Temple, a famous mosque of Islam in China, also known as "Qingbai Liufang Mosque", is located in the southeast gate street of Wenhe Road, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province.
Yangzhou Xianhe Temple, also known as the Temple of Worship, was founded in the Song Dynasty. The existing Xianhe Temple is a Ming Dynasty building and is a religious site of the mosque type! The entire building complex is very characteristic. The aerial view is like a crane, with similarities in the head, neck, body, legs, etc.!
After visiting Wenchang Pavilion, I found a Xianhe Temple not far from here on the navigation, so I stopped by and took a look at the information. The Xianhe Temple in Yangzhou is one of the four famous mosques in Islam in my country. Xianhe Temple is open for free. Later, I found that the building inside looked like a few years old, and there was a big ginkgo tree in the yard. There are some believers who sit and chat here quietly.
When I first heard about this monastery, I thought it was an ordinary temple in the old town. It was only after I discovered that it was a worship temple and it was not visited outside. There was an old tree at the gate. The guardian also enthusiastically introduced the ancient trees. 700 years of history.
[Check in] Xianhe Temple, I also saw a lot of flowers 🌸 Crane King Mountain, orchids, and wisteria flowers. Don't let no one be fragrant. After all, it is to protect cultural relics. It has characteristics and good looks! !
Yangzhou Xianhe Temple is as famous as Guangzhou Huaisheng Temple, Quanzhou Qingjing Temple, and Hangzhou Phoenix Temple. It is also the four famous mosques in Islam in my country. The Xianhe Temple is shaped like a crane and is well preserved. It is an ingenious combination of Chinese and Arab architectural styles. The Xianhe Temple was founded by Sun Puhaddin, the 16th generation of Islam, the most holy Muhammad, in the first year of Song Deyou (1275). There are still relics of Islamic culture in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. When building the mosque, Puhading lay out the shape of a crane from "mouth" to "tail". The original wall on the opposite side of the gate is the "Crane's Mouth" (demolished in 1958); the temple gate is an archway with a tilted angle, as if the head of a crane rises up; from the temple gate to the main hall, there is a long and narrow curved corridor shaped like a crane neck; the main hall is equivalent to Crane body. There are half pavilions with raised eaves on the north and south sides of the main hall, like crane wings (the half pavilion on the south side is the Wangyue Pavilion, and the half pavilion on the north side is already surrounded); behind the main hall, there are two ancient cypresses on the left and right courtyards, which are called crane feet. The back of the hall was originally near the river and planted with bamboo grates, shaped like a crane's tail (the bamboo grates do not exist after filling the Wenhe River to build a road); there are wells on the left and right sides of the main hall as crane eyes. The red horizontal plaque at the front of the Xianhe Temple is engraved with golden Arabic-Taismi (Great Compassion). On the horizontal plaque at the kiln door in the middle of the apse, there are a hundred circles engraved with Arabic inscribed in gold. Wen, this is the well-known "Hundred-Character Praise"-the praise of Allah.
