Jingzhong Temple is located in the old city area of Yangzhou. This is an old street. The traffic is a bit inconvenient. You need to walk through the streets to reach it. Jingzhong Temple can be the same as a local temple. The temple is not very big. If you like to walk around the old city, it is worth visiting.
From Xianhe Temple, along the streets and alleys of the old city to Jingzhong Temple, the gate and walls of Jingzhong Temple are unique bright yellow, which is very conspicuous in the main color of the old city. Legend has it that Yue Fei, the anti-golden hero of the Southern Song Dynasty, was here for nearly a year. The incense in this temple is relatively strong. The temple enshrines Amitabha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Da Shizhi Bodhisattva. The temple is open for free.
Jingzhong Temple is located on the north side of the east end of Jingzhong Alley, adjacent to Renfengli to the east. According to legend, this place is the former site of Liang Zhaoming Prince Xiao Tongwen Xuan Building. Jingzhong Temple was closed during the Cultural Revolution, and later occupied by a theater troupe. Later, the monks returned some more, and a situation where monks and laymen coexisted. It is now the resident of Yangzhou Buddhist Association. Its architectural feature is that the Shanmen Temple faces the north and faces the south. It is in the shape of a figure eight and a screen, showing the towering and solemnity. The entrance hall, the Daxiong Hall, and the master building of the Tibetan scriptures are on a central axis. Among them, the Daxiong Hall has the longest history and the most distinctive features. Jingzhong commended the King of Zhongwu Yuefei. Now it is free, the incense is very prosperous, Nammo Amitabha.
