Songjing

A scenic spot near the North Gate in the Slender West Lake Scenic Area. It is said to be a scenic spot. If there is really nothing to see, the wellhead is covered with barbed wire, and you can't see the situation below. There is a sign next to it. It is a well from the Southern Song Dynasty. Archaeologists once dug out objects from the Song and Yuan Dynasty from this well.

Located on Wenchang Road in Yangzhou, there is an ancient well in the Song Dynasty. According to textual research, it was built in 1240 AD. So far, the water quality is clean and can be used daily. In order to protect this ancient well, the Yangzhou Municipal Government built a pavilion for it and repaired the shadow wall with the striking "Songjing" written on it. To prevent accidents, the original stone fence is collected by the museum, and the current well fence is an imitation.

When the tide water poured into the well, due to the high proportion of sea water, it seeped from the rock formation after sinking, and the spring water above was still light.
