Holiday Inn, you can also stay near the North Gate. The next day we entered from the west gate and drove northward until the Mammoth Hot Spring area left to the north of the word 8. Then we went south along the left half of the word 8 to visit the Norris Geyser Basin in the middle of the left side of the word 8. Then we went south to the visitor center of the Old Faithful Spring to see the predicted eruption time. According to the time, we first took a walk to see the morning glory pool and then came back to see the Old Faithful Spring fountain. Fat, and finally go to see the Great Prism, but unfortunately the way up the hill overlooking the Great Prism was blocked because of the bear, leaving some regret and looking forward to the next time to go.

Old Faithful Fountain is the most famous landscape in Yellowstone Park in the United States. It does not erupt as irregularly as other fountains, but every dozen minutes, never disappointing passengers. Its constant loyalty is loved by the world, and hence its name "Old Faithfulness". The old faithful fountain erupts every 90 minutes, lasting about 4 minutes each time. The highest and most beautiful eruption time is the first 20 seconds. Each time, about 10,000 gallons of hot water are ejected, the height is 40-50 meters, and the water temperature is 93 degrees Celsius. When people come to Yellowstone Park, they will have a quick look at the Old Faithful Fountain. But see it does not spray, a spray is like ten thousand horses galloping, but also in the sunshine, water vapor flashes colorful, spectacular, who can not exclaim. The Great Prism Spring, located in the western section of Yellowstone National Park, is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It was discovered by geologists in 1871 and named Great Prism for its striking color. The water temperature of hot springs is as high as 86 C. Biophysical and chemical effects make the water color varied. Various colors diffuse from the center to the outside, and gradually form texture along the pool. The pond is 115 meters in diameter. If you want to feel the splendor of the hot spring as a whole, you can go to the hills southwest of the hot spring by Fairy Fall Trail. The best time for viewing the Great Prism Spring is from June to September every year, and try to avoid the cloudy weather. Mammoth hot springs, located in the northwest of Yellowstone Park, are the largest carbonate sedimentary hot springs in the world. The landscape is dominated by limestone steps, also known as thermal steps, which can be divided into Upper Terraces and Lower Terraces. The terrace is similar to Huanglong in Sichuan. The difference is that Huanglong is a cold spring and Mammoth is a hot spring. Mammoth hot springs originally had several hot springs running down from the hillside one by one, breeding a large number of bacteria and becoming a colorful ladder. However, after a crustal movement in 2002, most of the hot springs stopped activities, resulting in a large number of microbial deaths, which caused the Mammoth Hot Springs to lose color, and the dead bacteria also turned into gray powder and remained in the dry terrace. On the order.
We lived in Xihuangshi from 6.12 to 6.13, and drove 8 times on 6.13. We saw the big yak crossing the road and the elk. We didn't meet the black bear, but it was worth it. It snowed a little that day and sealed up a short road. As a result, the weather was fine in the afternoon and it was very lucky to open it again. 6.14 We live in a cabin next to Laozhongquan. There is no signal and no WiFi is for us to experience the unique scenery of Yellowstone. I saw two big fountains. Lao Zhongquan's buffet is not recommended. Fifteen dollars a person. It's terrible. 6.14 For the next eight laps of our self-driving, if we want to see animals, we will follow the people parking on the roadside. When you find some parking on the roadside suddenly, it must be the discovery of animals.
The best time to travel in Yellowstone National Park is from April to October. Almost all scenic spots are open, and July and August are the peak time for travel (summer vacation). Huangshi has a large temperature difference in the morning and evening, and strong ultraviolet radiation in summer. It is suggested to do a good job of warm and sunscreen measures. Yellowstone Park is relatively large, and the attractions are scattered. Self-driving tours are more free and free, and there are newspaper tours for a day or two. There are four airports around Huangshi. The airport has car rental service. Each company and the price of driving vary. You can go to the official website in advance to know that the domestic driver's license can rent a car in the western United States. The handling fee will be more expensive, and the navigation system will be calculated separately. According to their own situation, parents can formulate a set of suitable for themselves, and the price of each airport will be different. The parking fee for each car is $50, and it can park two parks (there's a Grand Teton National Park nearby). Yellowstone has many natural wonders that can not be missed, such as Old Faithful Fountain, Upper and Lower Geysers, Big Diamond Mirror, Mammoth Hot Spring, Lower Falls, Thumb Basin, and a variety of animals.
Yellowstone National Park is one of the hottest national parks in the United States. In the same park, there are rich geographic, natural and animal landscapes, where visitors can see geysers, hot springs, canyons, forests and many beautiful lakes. In addition, as the largest wildlife reserve in the United States, Yellowstone Park inhabits a large number of wildlife. In Yellowstone Park, the largest number of wild animals are seen in groups of bison, often seen elk and antelope, and even the opportunity to see black bears playing on the grassland, eagles flying from the sky. Landscape highways in Yellowstone National Park are 8-shaped, along which there are many scenic spots with different characteristics. Without network, we can only rely on road signs. The park is divided into five districts: the northwest is dominated by limestone steps, so it is also called hot step area; the northeast still retains the old western landscape; the middle is the canyon area, which can see the Yellowstone Grand Canyon and waterfalls; the southeast is the Yellowstone Lake area, mainly lake and mountain; the West and southwest are the intermittent fountain area, which is full of intermittent fountains, hot springs, steam pools, mud and air vents. There are Visitor Center and Information Center in Yellowstone Park. They are the same for consulting Tourism information, but Visitor Center has a special place where Visitor Center can stamp tourism souvenirs. There are five Visitor Centers in Yellowstone: Grant Village, Fishing Bridge, Canyon Village, Mammoth and Old Faithful. Each Visitor Center has a commemorative stamp, most of which are date plus location, but there are two different ones, Old Faithful and Grand Canyon, which have two stamps, one standard date plus location, and one is the stamp of the two scenic spots. They can be stamped on postcards (there are post offices in camps) or on passports in national parks for collection. Although I'm not a seal control, it's worthwhile for such a memorable event to involve children. If there are several people parking on the roadside, it is found that animals, usually yaks, deer, or pheasants, ducks, wild birds and geese. If you find traffic jams ahead, you must find a bear or a wolf. Anyway, you can stop if someone stops the car blindly, and you can get off if others get off at random. There is no need to obey the traffic rules so much. Otherwise, everything will be missed... The policeman's corn is to keep order. You just leave with everybody. You won't get a ticket.
Let's talk about our trip: on the morning of June 28, we started from Salt Lake City and arrived at West Yellowstone more than 1:00 p.m. after entering the park, we played the Norris Geyser and Mammoth Hot Springs on the left and left in turn. We went out of the North Gate to live in Gardner at about 8 o'clock; on June 29, we went from the North Gate to the right and drove down to the Huangshi Grand Canyon. In the afternoon, we played Diaoyuqiao West Thumb and lived in Grant Village; (Later, we After a faithful meal, it was a perfect arrangement to make a detour if we could book an old faithful room. On June 30th, we played with a big prism and then went all the way south to live in Jackson at night. All the other things we wanted to do were to see that the cows and deer were satisfied. On the first day of the Yellowstone night in late June and early July, we only got a single digit. It also hailed in Salt Lake City and wore a skirt. It turned out that Yellowstone was shivering in light down.
Yellowstone National Park, the original beauty of nature, has not been seen in China! The most unique magical paradise on earth is really super-beautiful. Every picture can make a desktop ticket of $30, which can be used to repeatedly enter and leave the park for seven days (30 yuan can play for seven days is more cost-effective!). Although only one day, it is still very worthwhile. Everywhere is a beautiful hot spring, any snapshot is a picture.
Needless to say, Yellowstone is one of the most stunning heritage sites I have ever been to. Wild animals and geographical sites are preserved like what they were supposed to be in the ice age... Both animals and human being will find themselves home in the Yellowstone...the least I could say.
From May 18 to May 22, 2017, I flew from New York to Salt Lake City and drove to Yellowstone National Park. I entered the North Gate and left the West Gate. During this period, I lived in a cabin. When I was old, I brushed past the buffalo and came in close contact with the female deer. On the way, I met the black bear, who was looking for food leisurely and comfortably. In four days, the scenic spots of east, west, north and South have been visited, which is one of the most unforgettable journeys and worth visiting.
The geothermal resources of Huangshi Park are not caused by plate movement, but by the heat movement of the accumulation of the dune layer. Yellowstone Park is full of geysers of different sizes, and most of them are located in the west. The Mammoth Hot Springs Mammoth geyser is the evening after entering the town outside the north gate of the park. The sun is no longer hot. Mammoth geyser is located in the upper left corner of figure 8 of Tour 8. On a high platform, there are two adjacent areas, which is a large geyser. The sun is setting. In order to catch the time, we did not climb all the way up the wooden trestle road beside the road. The car drove directly to the terrace. This is a 100-meter square platform under the two areas, large and small, many spring eyes. At sunset, some pools of mud pits are still, others are bubbling, and the patches of geysers are like paddy fields in the hilly areas of the south of the Yangtze River. Many algae live in hot springs, making them brown, orange, red and green. It has formed a colorful big step. The spring at the end of the platform is more active, and the hot air emits the smell of sulphur. After years of erosion, brown rock and white rock debris are mixed together to form a picture of floods and wastes. The next morning, 18 miles south from the North Gate, we arrived at the Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone. This is the hottest and most unstable series of geysers on Earth. In the basin, there are clear blue-green at the bottom, and soft blue-white like milk. Because of its instability, new fountains are produced every year, and old fountains die. Continuing south, we can see the most outstanding representative of Huangshi Hot Spring, the Great Prism Hot Spring. The big prism hot spring has a diameter of nearly 100 meters, showing different colors from the center to the outside, such as blue, green, yellow, orange and red. It is the largest and most beautiful landscape. Lao Zhongshi Spring is the first named geyser in Yellowstone Park and the most predictable geographical feature in the world. Every 90 minutes or so, the eruption makes millions of people willing to wait for that "faithful" eruption. We were lucky to arrive at Lao Zhongshi Spring at 3:00 p.m. and catch up with the eruption at 3:14 p.m. It was really spectacular. The eruption lasted more than two minutes.
