Square
_We***34Hraparak is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It consists of two sections: an oval roundabout and a trapezoid-shaped section which contains a pool with musical fountains. The square is surrounded by five major buildings built in pink and yellow tuffin the neoclassical style with extensive use of Armenian motifs. This architectural ensemble includes the Government House, the History Museum and the National Gallery, Armenia Marriott Hotel and the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport and Communications. The square was originally designed by Alexander Tamanian in 1924.The construction of most of the buildings was completed by the 1950s; the last building—the National Gallery—was completed in 1977.

Church
山水人生After driving to the Geghard Monastery, I saw that the parking lot was also full of cars. I finally waited for a car to leave and vacated the parking space, and quickly drove in and parked the car to take a place. The monastery was actually built in the rock, and the rock on its back was also carved with a huge cross. The golden light graced the monastery a lot. Walking into the monastery built on the hillside, you can see that many spaces inside are excavated from the rock, so this monastery also has the nickname of the cave church. The interior of the church is relatively rudimentary and there is nothing special, except that there is a spring water flowing out of the cave in one room, so there are many people waiting in line to receive the spring water. It is said that the cave singing effect in the prayer hall is very good, but unfortunately no one shouted there at the time, so I did not experience the sound of nature. Because I have to rush back to Yerevan today to return the rented car, I still need to hurry up, so I didn't stay here any more, I hurriedly walked through and looked at it, which is considered to be a visit here.

Memorial Hall
Museum
elsashen0529The Armenian Genocide memorial complex-The Armenian Genocide memorial complex is a complex building that requires at least 2 hours of admiration and visiting time. The first thing that comes into view is a forest of fir trees, each planted by politicians from all over the world. I recognized the fir tree planted by Sarkozy from the explanation card next to the tree. Turn left through the woods and first pass the 100-meter-long wall. The names of cities and villages where ethnic cleansing took place are written on the wall. Then you see a 44-meter-high minaret on your right. The front and the back of the tower stand. The front part means the lost Armenia, and the back part means the current native Armenia. The whole implies rebirth. Next is the memorial hall. It is composed of 12 arched stone walls, representing 12 provinces lost in Armenia after the war. Down the steps is a long open flame. The ever-opening fire, located 1.5 meters below the ground, symbolizes the 1.5 million victims who were slaughtered. Every year, April 24th is the National Day of Remembrance. Thousands of people will come here to present flowers to the victims. Leaving the memorial hall and walking back to the starting point, there is a stone step from here overlooking the entire city of Yerevan. Below is the memorial hall, which shows us the most wicked massacre that happened in this land over time from ample pictures and videos. At the beginning of the last century, in order to prevent the Armenians from resisting the land occupation, the Ottoman Empire systematically and premeditated carried out a purge-like massacre on the Armenians in the ruling area. In the past few years, 1.5 million innocent women, children, and elderly people have been killed inhumanely. History will not be forgotten, but why does history reappear?

事事随缘At night, Yerevan is full of people, shoulder to shoulder, gift shops, gold, silver and jadeware, traditional clothing, wood carvings, unique, row upon row of luxury shops, neon flashing, vibrant colors, enough to make people around the world admire The tourists here are eye-opening. Buskers of all colors appeared in turn, so it was so lively. The contrast between the impressive medieval quiet church during the day and the colorful world in front of you at night is a bit trance. Armenians have a very high talent for art. Various street sculptures come alive and have different shapes, which makes people feel the artistic atmosphere coming to the face. Standing among the crowds, I will feel a little inexplicably moved. After all, the journey of Transcaucasus didn't feel so exciting, but it was unexpectedly so unforgettable. Armenia is definitely worth savoring slowly, and it is endlessly memorable.
